Work on www.getgosu.com, Get Gosu is an automated, online, computer game tournament hosting platform. Get Gosu allows gamers to play customizable tournaments of games such as Counter Strike from the comfort of their own homes with just a few mouse clicks.
There are opportunities to work with:
• Ruby on Rails for the web-app
• A snappy application that manages dynamically allocated game server instances (written in Ruby)
• Eventmachine
• Comet (we can push anything)
• C++ on the Counter Strike mods
Our ideal team member has:
• Excellent communication skills
• A practical working knowledge of Ruby's core classes
• Excellent problem solving skills
• A strong grasp of algorithmic paradigms and data structures
• The ability to work on projects alone or with a small team
