Job Description

Viki.com is looking for engineers with Web Application Development experience. Rails skills are a big plus. You should have working experience with the whole stack (databases, backend, frontend, caching). Ideally you know the Postgres + Rails + Redis + Memcache stack. We run on Heroku.

Job Responsibilities

Backend and frontend development on viki.com and its satellite applications. Anything goes, from database optimization to javsscript/css.

Expected Qualifications

Must have:
- the spirit of an inventor
- entrepreneurial attitude
- ability to learn fast
- have developed / deployed / maintained web apps before

Big plus:
- rails knowledge
- TDD/BDD experience (rspec + jasmine preferred)

Working Environment

We do agile development: pair programming, daily releases, CI server, integration tests, the whole nine yards.

We use industry best practices.

Unlike other startups, we go home at 6pm.
